New Website For North End History

On Thursday February 12, we launched our website for North End History!

Now, www.NorthEndHistory.ca will be our main way of communicating with the community, sharing updates about our monthly general meetings and provide opportunities to celebrate and chronicle people, places, artifacts & cultures in Winnipeg’s North End. This website will have various pages that feature our projects including The Palace Theatre Community Committee and the North End Story Telling Festival. There is a special volunteers only section where information on meetings and internal notices will be shared.

Finally, we will be sharing news posts, like this one, with current events, historical resources and blog posts written by North End History volunteers. If you have any suggestions on what we can share on this website, don’t hesitate to reach out to our brand new email address info@northendhistory.ca. We are available on the last Tuesday of each month at our General Meetings at Merchants Corner Housing Multipurpose Room at 540 Pritchard Avenue if you would like to come and see us in person.
